The journey is enriched with unforgettable experiences such as a Thai cooking class, a boat ride on the Kok River, an ethical encounter with elephants, and a magical overnight sleeper train journey back to Bangkok.

Bangkok: Thailand’s vibrant capital is a thrilling introduction to the country, blending modern life with deep-rooted traditions. Guests explore iconic landmarks such as the Grand Palace, Wat Phra Kaew (Emerald Buddha Temple), and Wat Pho with its impressive Reclining Buddha, while also enjoying lively districts, riverside markets, and contemporary art spaces.

Ayutthaya: Once the glorious capital of Siam, Ayutthaya is an extraordinary archaeological site and UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visitors walk among majestic temple ruins, including Wat Phra Si Sanphet and Wat Lokaya Sutharam, and discover Thailand’s royal and religious heritage through monumental Buddhas and ancient architecture.

Sukhothai: Considered the cradle of Thai civilization, Sukhothai Historical Park offers a serene and atmospheric journey into the 13th century. Guests visit key monuments such as Wat Mahathat and Wat Sra Sri, surrounded by lotus ponds and stone Buddha statues that reflect the origins of Thai art and culture.

Chiang Mai: The cultural heart of northern Thailand, Chiang Mai combines ancient temples, creative districts, and rich local traditions. Highlights include a hands on Thai cooking class, a visit to Doi Suthep Temple with panoramic city views, the Sankamphaeng handicraft village, and a traditional Kantoke dinner with cultural performances.

Elephant Jungle Sanctuary (Chiang Mai): This ethical sanctuary offers an intimate and responsible encounter with Thailand’s most revered animal. Visitors observe and feed elephants in a natural jungle environment, learning about conservation efforts while enjoying a meaningful, non exploitative wildlife experience.

Floating Market: A classic symbol of traditional Thai life, the floating market showcases boats brimming with fresh fruits, vegetables, and local products. Guests also visit a coconut sugar workshop and enjoy riverside dining, gaining insight into rural commerce and culinary traditions.

Day 1: ARRIVAL IN BANGKOK

Upon arrival in Bangkok, proceed to the meeting point at Gate 6 on the 2nd floor of the international arrivals terminal, where you will be greeted and assisted by our representative before being transferred to your hotel. The afternoon is free at leisure, so you can take time to relax and enjoy a traditional Thai massage at one of the nearby massage shops or visit Asiatique The Riverfront, a vibrant market filled with shops, restaurants, and entertainment, located along the Chao Phraya River beside the Ferris wheel. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day 2: BANGKOK – AYUTTHAYA – PHITSANULOK (450km – 6hrs)

Departure for Ayutthaya, the former capital known as “The Holy City.” Visit the Ayutthaya Historical Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The highlights include: Wat Phra Mongkol Bophit, home to one of the largest bronze Buddha statues in Thailand (if closed, visit Wat Panan Choeng instead), Wat Phra Si Sanphet, the former royal temple built in the 15th century and Wat Lokaya Sutharam, featuring the impressive reclining Buddha. Enjoy lunch en route and continue to Phitsanulok, arriving at the end of the day.

Day 3: PHITSANULOK – SUKHOTHAI – CHIANG RAI (485km – 7.8hrs)

Depart to Sukhothai, the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Siam and a UNESCO World Heritage Site, one of Southeast Asia’s most important historical destinations. Visit the main 13th‑century ruins, including: Wat Mahathat, Wat Sra Sri and The Sukhothai Historical Museum. Lunch, followed by a tasting of the famous Thai specialty Tom Kha Gai. Continue north through a variety of scenic landscapes toward Chiang Rai. In the late afternoon, stop at Phayao Lake for a short break before arriving in Chiang Rai.

Day 4: CHIANG RAI – CHIANG MAI (200km – 3.5hrs)

After breakfast, enjoy a boat ride on the Kok River to visit a Hill Tribe village, home to mountain communities originally from Myanmar and Yunnan. Continue to Chiang Mai. Lunch includes a tasting of Mu Sap Bai Kraphao (stir‑fried minced pork with basil). En route, visit Wat Rong Khun (The White Temple), an extraordinary modern temple famous for its all‑white architecture and mirrored details, making it one of Thailand’s most striking landmarks. Arrive in Chiang Mai at the end of the day.

Remark: From April to June, river levels may be low. If the boat trip is not possible, the journey will be made by road instead.

Day 5: CHIANG MAI – DOI SUTHEP – CHIANG MAI (95km – 2.8hrs)

Begin your day with an introduction to Thai cuisine at Mama Noi Thai Cooking School. Visit the organic garden to select fresh ingredients, then participate in preparing authentic Thai dishes. Lunch consists of your freshly cooked meals, and you will receive a small French‑language cookbook. Next visit Sankamphaeng Handicraft Village, known for lacquerware, silk, jewelry, and parasols. Drive up Doi Suthep Mountain through lush tropical forest to visit Wat Phra That Doi Suthep, the most sacred temple in northern Thailand. Learn about its history and the legend of the White Elephant, and admire its golden chedi and beautiful murals. Return to Chiang Mai and stroll through Nimmanhaemin, a trendy district known for creativity and modern cafés. In the evening, enjoy a Kantoke dinner with traditional northern Thai dishes and an ethnic dance performance.

Day 6: CHIANG MAI – BANGKOK (55km – 1.5hrs)

After breakfast, visit the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary for an unforgettable experience. Feed and observe elephants in a natural, ethical environment where their well‑being is the priority. Then return to Chiang Mai and transfer to the railway station for an overnight air‑conditioned sleeper train to Bangkok. Dinner box will be provided.

Remark: If the train service is unavailable for any unforeseen reason, the transfer will be replaced by the most comfortable coach available.

Day 7: BANGKOK – FLOATING MARKET – BANGKOK (200km – 2.5hrs)

Upon arrival at the Bangkok train station, transfer to the hotel for breakfast, then depart to visit a floating market. Stop at a traditional workshop where coconut sugar is produced. Discover the floating market, with boats loaded with fresh fruits and vegetables. Lunch includes a tasting of Tom Yum Kung, a famous spicy soup with shrimp, lemongrass, and chilli, served at a riverside restaurant. Return to Bangkok for visits to the Royal Palace, Wat Phra Kaew, home of the Emerald Buddha and Wat Pho, featuring the spectacular 45‑meter Reclining Buddha. Dinner, then enjoy your free evening exploring WTS (bar and art gallery) or nearby nightlife.

Day 1: BANGKOK DEPARTURE

After breakfast, enjoy some free time before your scheduled transfer to the airport for your return flight.

Comfortable and light clothing is the most suitable for travelling in Thailand. Visitors should not wear sleeveless shirts, shorts, short skirts or skimpy clothing when visiting temples, religious or official buildings. Shoes should be removed before entering a temple or private house. Sun protection, sunglasses, a hat and mosquito repellent can be very useful during your stay.
