Day 1. Friday. Bogotá:

Day 2. Saturday. Bogotá: City Tour & Monserrate:

Breakfast at the hotel. At 7:30 a.m., pick-up at the hotel lobby and start of the panoramic tour through the historic center of Bogotá, also known as “La Candelaria.” During the tour, visit the Gold Museum, where approximately 34,000 pieces of pre-Hispanic gold and more than 25,000 pre-Columbian objects are displayed.

Afterwards, visit the Mint Museum and the Botero Donation, where works by the internationally renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero are exhibited in different artistic techniques, including painting, drawing, and sculpture.

Continue the panoramic tour around Bolívar Square, visiting its main landmarks: the Primatial Cathedral, Nariño Palace, Liévano Palace, and the Palace of Justice.

Looking up from almost anywhere in the city, it is impossible to miss the mountain that, rising 3,152 meters above sea level, watches over Bogotá. Monserrate is Bogotá’s quintessential symbol, not only as a natural landmark but also because of its religious significance. Its sanctuary has been visited by millions of pilgrims and travelers since its foundation in 1640.

Upon arrival in Zipaquirá, visit the Salt Cathedral, built inside a mine 180 meters underground. It is considered one of Colombia’s most important wonders and a remarkable work of engineering and religious art.

At the agreed time, begin the City Tour + Comuna 13 Tour, visiting the city's main tourist attractions, such as San Antonio Park, Plazuela de San Ignacio, the traditional La Playa Avenue, and the Sculpture Park, which features more than 20 sculptures donated by the renowned Colombian artist Fernando Botero. The tour continues to Parque de los Deseos and the Atanasio Girardot Sports Complex, as well as the renovated Convention Center and La Macarena, the former bullring.

Additionally, visit the traditional Pueblito Paisa. Afterwards, continue to the El Poblado area, where you will visit Parque del Poblado, Parque Lleras, and the Golden Mile, the city's financial and hotel district.

Continue the visit to Comuna 13 in Medellín, exploring the graffiti that highlights places and events that have marked the area's history. Afterwards, continue to the majestic Piedra del Peñol, a 220-meter-high monolith. The visit continues to the town of Guatapé, famous for the colorful zócalos, drawings, and high-relief artwork decorating the facades of its houses (this part of the tour is done by moto-taxi). Finally, visit the El Peñol and Guatapé reservoirs, where you can enjoy the contrast between green mountains and shimmering bodies of water. In the afternoon, return to the hotel and accommodation.
